Building

Legal Network

Argentine legal counsel specialising in foreign investment. We are actively building this network — vetting lawyers by specialty, track record with non-resident investors, and responsiveness.

Building

Foreign Investment Structuring

Lawyers specialising in inward FDI — fideicomiso structures, SPV incorporation, and escritura for non-residents.

Building

Real Estate Title & Closing

Escribanos and property lawyers for title verification, domain checks, and remote closing via poder especial.

Building

Tax & Regulatory Compliance

Tax advisors covering CUIT registration, rental income reporting, and repatriation of USD income.

The three structures available to foreign investors

Direct Escritura

Direct title in your name. Simplest structure. Requires CUIT number (Argentine tax ID) and Argentine bank account.

Best for: Simple purchases, long-term holds

Fideicomiso

Trust structure common in Argentine pre-sales. Funds held in trust by a trustee until construction milestones trigger release.

Best for: Pre-construction, off-plan purchases

Argentine SPV

Local company (SRL or SA) holds the asset. Useful for multiple assets, rental income, and eventual resale structuring.

Best for: Multiple assets, yield-focused strategies

Capital Entry

How your USD gets into Argentina — compliantly, efficiently, and with a clean documentation trail. Three mechanisms, each with different profiles for size, complexity, and tax treatment.

MEP Dollar
Mercado Electrónico de Pagos
ROUTE-01

Purchase USD-denominated Argentine bonds locally and sell them abroad. Fully legal, widely used by institutional capital.

Moderate complexity
CCL
Contado con Liquidación
ROUTE-02

Buy Argentine-listed shares with pesos and sell the same shares listed abroad for USD. Standard for larger transactions.

Moderate complexity
Direct Wire
International Bank Transfer
ROUTE-03

Standard SWIFT transfer to Argentine developer escrow. Requires clean AML documentation and CUIT registration.

Low complexity

Important: Capital entry mechanics change with Argentine FX regulation. Pozzo stays current and advises on the most efficient compliant mechanism at the time of your investment. All mechanisms above are operating within Argentine law as of 2026.
